NEW TO FITNESS OR JUST NOT SURE WHAT TO DO?
• I begin with a thorough medical and health history. I want to know how your body's been operating for you, so that we can avoid doing anything risky. This allows me to determine your risk factors, which is critical for allowing me to prepare a safe exercise program.
• Second, we talk about your fitness goals; what you would like to be able to do, feel, and enjoy as a result of investing in your own improved fitness. I'll take the time to understand what you want to improve, and why, so that we can stay clearly focused on whatever is important to you.
• Third, we'll engage in a fitness assessment, which is a battery of activities I'll have you do. This helps me gauge your cardiovascular condition and evaluate things such as strength, flexibility and range of motion. It's important that we choose a safe route to achieving your fitness goals.
• Lastly, I match up your goals and objectives with the results of your fitness assessment and the contents of your health history, and create an exercise safely program that will allow us to accommodate your unique needs and achieve your personal fitness goals.
